Your products must be creative, original, “made entirely by hand, hand-altered, or hand assembled (not from a kit)” and “handmade by you (the artisan) or by one of your employees. Should not be made on an assembly line, i.e, commodity, mass produced.  Use of sewing machines and other tools required to create the goods and supplies are just fine! ☺

Any pet related services such as dog walking, pet sitting, mobile grooming, building dog houses, catopia’s etc.  Also, artisans selling pottery, paintings or other fragile items that may be too difficult to ship can sell on AOTP Local.

Art of the Pet Marketplace fees

We have 3 fees that comprise our pricing model:

  1. Listing fee of .15 per item which can run for up to 3 months or until the item sells.
  2. Once an item sells, there is an 9% commission transaction fee inclusive of shipping charges.
  3. Currently, our payment processor is Stripe https://stripe.com/us/pricing The fees show to be 2.9% + .30 per successful charge.  Please click the link for more info.

Art of the Pet Local! Fees

$25.00 month/ Flat fee per Service listing. 

No, however if you take advantage of an occasional pre-pay membership, there are no refunds for pre-paids.

Yes we do!

We can set up your Shop Profile and list up to 10 products for you as a service.  The service fee is $30.00.  This will get you out of the gate fast and then you will just need to set up and connect your Stripe account.  If you would like additional items listed the service fee is $20 for up to an additional 10 items.  Keyword services are $5.00 per 10 product listings.

Remember, we are only enlisting new Sellers/Makers by application only.  So if you are interested in joining up with us that's step 1.  Apply at [email protected]  

Once you are approved, we can proceed with exploring shop set up services for you or you can set up your shop on your own.
