The original "Tiller Tug" design used discarded fire hose and outdated rescue webbing. The tugs were used as "a play reward" when a search dog correctly located and alerted on a victim. Tiller Tugs grew into a homegrown company committed to raising funds for local rescue groups through the sales of quality dog toys using a recycled fire hose.

Our Story
Tiller Tugs was born from the shared passion of two Riverside City firefighters: a canine rescue specialist with FEMA CA Task Force 6 Urban Search & Rescue, and an animal lover and volunteer with local animal rescue groups.
The original "Tiller Tug" design used discarded fire hose and outdated rescue webbing. The tugs were used as "a play reward" when a search dog correctly located and alerted on a victim. Tiller Tugs grew into a home grown company committed to raising funds for local rescue groups through the sales of quality dog toys using recycled fire hose. Proceeds from my sales will be donated to animal rescue groups in the Riverside CA area.

Shipping Policy
Shipping costs will vary according to the destination, quantity, size, and type of product purchased. Most items will be shipped via the United States Postal Service using Priority Mail shipping methods. Please contact me about combined shipping for ordering multiple toys. Happy to accommodate!
Orders should be processed and mailed out within 5-7 days; priority mail is 2-3 business days within the 48 states. Large or customized orders may take longer to process. All orders are subject to the availability of materials (hose size, webbing colors, etc.,) You will be notified once your order has shipped.

Returns Policy
Tiller Tugs are durable products and designed for interactive play between a dog and person or two dogs. They will have a long life if used in this manner. Like most fabric toys, if left with the dog as a chew toy, Tiller Tugs may eventually wear out. They are not meant to be chew toys. Some Tiller Tug products are stuffed with polyester fiber fill. Webbing materials are nylon or polyester. The hose material itself is a cotton/polyester blend with a rubber lining. The fire hose used in Tiller Tugs is cleaned using a heavy duty detergent and cleaning cycle; however, we cannot guarantee that all products the hose is exposed to is removed completely.
Each Tiller Tug product is unique because it is made with human hands. Our products are not perfect; they have a “rough” look to them, but that does not take away from their quality, durability, and function. If you receive a Tiller Tug product that is damaged or does not meet the specifications of your order, please contact us, and we will correct the order with no additional cost.
